New Realm Brewing Company (Atlanta, Georgia) has officially announced that it will welcome back Tart’s Content Berliner Weisse for a Limited Release beginning on October 8, 2020.

Back to retain its spot as the fourth release of the year in New Realm’s Sour Series, Tart’s Content is a fall-inspired Berliner Weisse featuring additions of cranberry, cinnamon and orange peel. Coming in at 4.6% ABV, the “richly fruited [Tart’s Content] impresses with its tart, bright citrus and spiced fall flavors.”

New Realm Brewing Serves Up Some Southern Tee This Summer

New Realm Brewing Company (Atlanta, Georgia) has officially announced that it will continue its Sour Series with the Limited Release of Southern Tee in July 2020.

Carefully crafted to capture the ultra-refreshing experience found in “the half tea, half lemonade classic made popular by golf’s one and only ‘The King’”- Arnold Palmer, Southern Tee is a “southern-style” Berliner Weisse that brings together “tart lemons, the sweetness of . . . lemonade, and rich tea flavors.” Coming in at just 4.8% ABV, the thirst-quenching Southern Tee boasts “a slightly sweet flavor while still showcasing the tart taste of a Berliner Weisse.”

“For years, fans have gravitated towards this style, so we’ve added our own twist by brewing a Berliner Weisse with a little lower alcohol at 4.8%. It’s so refreshing and perfect for the end of a round of golf and for wherever else your summer takes you,” said Bob Powers, Co-Founder and CSMO of New Realm Brewing.

Crafted to blur the lines between hoppy and sour beer styles, Straight from the Tart is a Sour India Pale Ale that “combines the puckering tartness of a sour beer with an abundance of citrus and fruity hop notes to create a beer that is the best of both worlds.”  Coming in at 6.9% ABV and just 20 IBUs, Straight from the Tart “is a perfect pairing for both IPA and Sour beer fans alike, as its complexity of flavor will have beer drinkers reaching for another sip all winter long.”

“Straight from the Tart is a beer our brewers in Virginia Beach had suggested us brewing for a while now. It’s fermented with a brewer’s yeast that produces natural lactic acid during fermentation. Developed to capture the feel of autumn and the Holiday Season, Tart’s Content is a “richly fruited Berliner Weisse aimed to impress the palate with its tart, citrus and spiced fall flavors.”  Coming in at 4.6% ABV, Tart’s Content “pairs well with harvest festivals, fall leaves and family feasts.”

“Last October, we started brewing Lemon Pucker and we took five barrels of a batch and placed it into our pilot system,” said Mitch Steele Co-Founder and Brewmaster of New Realm Brewing. “The original thought was to make a cranberry Berliner since cranberries have their own natural tartness. After we tasted the beer, we agreed that it needed more complexity so we added cinnamon and orange peel in an attempt to try and recreate the delicious cranberry dishes one might find at a holiday party. The result is our latest addition to our Sour Series.”

Arriving as the third release in New Realm’s Sour Series, Bless Your Little Tart is a Gose-style Ale “brewed with a blue-ribbon combination of . . . blueberries and peaches with added blackberry, sea salt and coriander.”  Sauntering in at an easy-going 5.3% ABV and 10 IBUs, Bless Your Little Tart is here to offer “that fresh taste of good-ole southern hospitality in a can or on draft.”

New Realm Brewing Embraces Summer with Release of Lemon Pucker

Arriving as the second release in New Realm’s newly-established Sour Series, Lemon Pucker is a Berliner Weisse that has been dry-hopped with Lemondrop hops and then hit with an addition of lemon peel.  Originally brewed as “a pilot batch in April of 2018”, Lemon Pucker (3.8% ABV) has returned for the summer to act as the perfect pairing for “porch swings, sunny skies, giant pool floats and staycations.”

“I like to call this grown up lemonade without the sugar,” said Mitch Steele Co-Founder and Brewmaster of New Realm Brewing. “At our brewing team’s suggestion, we dry hopped with Lemondrop hops and added lemon peels post-fermentation. The result is a tart, refreshing and extremely lemony beer that became a crowd favorite at both of our taprooms.”

Here to make it so “Key Lime Pie lovers can . . . have their pie and drink it too”, Lime of the Party is a kettle soured Gose-style Ale that received an addition of “Fresh Key Lime juice from Florida . . . during the fermentation process.”  Guaranteed to be “pure tart deliciousness on draft or in a can”, Lime of the Party comes in at an easy-drinking 4% ABV.

“Key Lime Pie is one of my personal favorites,” said Mitch Steele Co-Founder and Brewmaster of New Realm Brewing. “We found a supplier of really fantastic Key Lime Juice and after bringing in a sample, we knew it was the way to go for our first major Gose release.
