Orpheus Brewing (Atlanta, Georgia) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Ye Who Enter Here, a Barrel-aged Imperial Stout with chiles, coffee and vanilla beans, on Friday, May 22.
Dropping as the first of many beers that will release over the next six weeks to celebrate Year Six of Orpheus Brewing, Ye Who Enter Here is an Imperial Stout aged for two years in Heaven Hill Bourbon and Jack Daniels Rye Whiskey barrels with guajillo, puya, and de árbol chiles; Madagascan vanilla beans; and a complex blend of Nariño and Ixlama coffee beans from East Pole Coffee Co. that were added whole to the barrels. Coming in at 13% ABV, this batch of Ye Who Enter Here promises to be “spicier than the first batch, but still more of a warm, building heat than an aggressive spiciness.”
Ye Who Enter Here will hit The Tasting Room at Orpheus Brewing on May 22 and you can pre-order your bottles on CraftCellr now by clicking here. This Limited Release offering will be available in 375ml bottles and will hang around only as long as supplies last. Ye Who Enter Here is a brewery exclusive release and is not expected to see distribution. Prost!
