Great Divide Brewing Co. Releases 16 oz. Cans of Barrel Aged Yeti Imperial Stout

barrel-aged-yeti-2019_16oz-mockup_no-background_sm.pngGreat Divide Brewing Company (Denver, Colorado) has officially announced that the elusive Barrel Aged Yeti Imperial Stout has reappeared for a limited time and this year it is available in 16 oz. cans.

Created as an attempt to tame the beast that is Great Divide’s Yeti Imperial Stout, Barrel Aged Yeti (12.5 % ABV) is a “unique version” of that beloved Imperial Stout that has been “aged for at least 12 months in whiskey barrels.”  This extended period of hibernation in the barrels “produces a hugely complex but mellowed Yeti, with its signature roasted flavors, hints of vanilla and oak, and a whiskeyed finish.”

Barrel Aged Yeti hit the Great Divide Tap Rooms – Ballpark and Rino – on October 31 and started rolling out into distribution on November 1, 2019. You can expect to find this Limited Release offering available in 16 oz. cans – a new packaging format for 2019 – and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Alabama, Florida, Colorado and throughout the rest of Great Divide’s distribution area.  Prost!
