WeldWerks Brewing Sweetens Up the Holidays with Release of ¡SPONCH!

WeldWerks Brewing (Greeley, Colorado) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of ¡SPONCH! on Wednesday, November 24.

Inspired by the love the WeldWerks crew has for Sponch cookies, ¡SPONCH! is a Sour Wheat Ale “brewed with strawberry puree, toasted coconut, marshmallow, milk sugar and Sponch!® cookies.” Coming in at 4.5% ABV, ¡SPONCH! boasts “jammy strawberry flavors [melding] perfectly with the rich sweetness from the toasted coconut, followed by vanilla, marshmallow, and cookie notes, which are balanced by the moderated acidity of the base beer.”

¡SPONCH! will release in the taproom at WeldWerks Brewing on Wednesday, November 24 – “cans available for online sale starting Tuesday night (November 23) at 9 PM” – and distribution will follow the week of November 29. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located throughout WeldWerks Brewing’s distribution footprint. WeldWerks Brewing Set to Release Cans of Watermelon Cotton Candy Sour

WeldWerks Brewing (Greeley, Colorado) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Can Release of Watermelon Cotton Candy Sour on Friday, June 18.

Developed to conjure up memories of “all-day State Fairs or evening carnivals,” Watermelon Cotton Candy is a Sour Wheat Ale brewed with cotton candy, milk sugar and watermelon juice. These ingredients come together to create the following ride for your senses:

“The cotton candy adds that indulgent sweet flavor, while the milk sugar rounds it out with a soft and fluffy mouthfeel (just like the beloved childhood treat – cotton candy!). The watermelon adds an almost juicy-fruit character but still maintains all the natural juiciness of fresh, crisp watermelon.”

Coming in at 4.6% ABV, Watermelon Cotton Candy is sure to get your mouth watering.

Watermelon Cotton Candy is scheduled to release at Weldwerks Brewing on June 18 (limit of six 4-packs per person) and will enter distribution during the week of June 21. Jester King Brewery & WeldWerks Brewing Collaborate on Rex Machina Hazy IPA

Jester King Brewery (Austin, Texas) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Can Release of Rex Machina, a special collaboration with WeldWerks Brewing (Greeley, Colorado), at noon on Friday, June 12.

Rex Machina is a Hazy/Juicy India Pale Ale built upon a base of “Silver Star Two Row malt from Blacklands Malt and a quarter-ton of flaked and malted oats and wheat.” To ensure that Rex Machina (6.7% ABV) bursts with plenty of hop-sourced juiciness, the beer was then “dry hopped aggressively, first with WeldWerks super-expressive, hand-picked lot of El Dorado, then again with a new hop blend called Trident, which lends an intense tropical, passion fruit character.”

Rex Machina will officially release at Jester King Brewery at noon on June 12 and will hang around only as long as supplies last (only 200 cases produced). This Limited Release offering will be available by the glass, in 32 oz. crowlers and in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans ($16 per 4-pack, limit of one case per customer). If you are interested in getting your hands on Rex Machina, you can order online for pickup anytime 7 days a week from 12-8 p.m. or make a reservation so that you can get a crowler filled or enjoy by the glass on-site.
