Burial Beer Co. (Asheville, North Carolina) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Transformative Disfiguration Double IPA on November 11, 2020.

Known to be “one of [Burial’s] very favorite Heavy Resin concoctions,” Transformative Disfiguration is a Hazy/Juicy Double India Pale Ale “double dry-hopped with Strata, Galaxy, Riwaka and Wai-Iti, and a final dose of Simcoe Cryo.” Coming in at 8.5% ABV, Transformative Disfiguration provides a sensory experience that resembles a “pint of mango limeade, topped with crushed pineapple candies and followed by resinous pulls of sticky sativa.”

Transformative Disfiguration – packaged in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans for $19 each – will be available for online presale for pickup at Burial Beer Co.’s Asheville taproom and Raleigh taproom at noon on November 11 (proxies are welcome). If any cans survive the presale, the brewery will release those in their online shop for nationwide shipping on November 12 at noon. Transformative Disfiguration will not see distribution. Prost!
