Burial Beer Co. (Asheville, North Carolina) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Reflections of Disillusionment on February 10, 2021.
Bringing all the sweet juiciness you can handle, Reflections of Disillusionment is a Hazy/Juicy Double India Pale Ale “made with oats and lactose, . . . fermented upon Mango pulp and Orange zest” and then “double dry-hopped with hand-selected Citra and Idaho 7, doses of Vic Secret and Galaxy, and a dab of Citra Cryo.” Coming in at 8% ABV, Reflections of Disillusionment reads as a “Vitamix of whipped mango and guava smoothie, with a floater of orange sorbet, and a sprinkling of tropical skittles.”
4-packs of 16 oz. cans of Reflections of Disillusionment – and the tumbler glass pictured above – will be available for online presale for pickup at Burial Beer Co.’s Asheville taproom and Raleigh taproom at noon on February 10 (proxies are welcome). If any cans survive the presale, the brewery will release those in their online shop for nationwide shipping on February 11 at noon. Reflections of Disillusionment will not see distribution. Prost!
