Burial Beer Co. (Asheville, North Carolina) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Can Release of The Distortion, a new Triple IPA, at noon on Wednesday, August 26.

Crafted to alter your reality with an immense amount of haze, The Distortion is a Triple Hazy/Juicy India Pale Ale brewed with oats and candi sugar and triple dry-hopped with “Strata, Citra, Vic Secret and a final dose of Simcoe Cryo.” Weighing in at 10% ABV, The Distortion offers “guzzles of orange julius, wafts of tangerine dream, and mouthfuls of candied mango.”

The Distortion – available in 4-packs of 16 oz cans for $21 each – will be available for online presale for pickup at Burial Beer Co.’s Asheville taproom and Raleigh taproom at noon on August 26 (proxies welcome). If any cans survive the presale, the brewery will release those in their online shop for nationwide shipping on August 27 at noon. The Distortion will not see distribution. Prost!
