On Sunday, June 3, LOKO Cuisine and Ichicoro Ramen will team up once again with 7venth Sun Brewery – Tampa (6809 N Nebraska Ave | Tampa, Florida) to host a very special IchiLOKO: Freak Your Tiki Can Release and Beer Dinner.
The creative culinary minds from LOKO Cuisine and Ichicoro (a.k.a. IchiLOKO) will welcome the approaching summer by going tiki and island-inspired for the latest installment in their collaboration series. Kicking off at 5 p.m. on June 3, the IchiLOKO: Freak Your Tiki Beer Dinner will be an all-you-can-eat, self-serve feast featuring a spread of delicious tropical island dishes that have been given that signature IchiLOKO flair. As an added bonus, The Revolution Ice Cream Company will get in on the action by “creating boozy treats to cool you off” during the dessert portion of the meal. The menu speaks for itself and we will allow it to do just that:
To cover the beer portion of the dinner, 7venth Sun Brewery will be pouring up seven different tiki cocktail-inspired beers AND a Tart Wheat Brett Beer with Pineapple and Orange Zest brewed in collaboration with Overflow Brewing Company.
Tickets for the Freak Your Tiki Beer Dinner are available now for $32.10 each, and you can purchase yours by clicking here. Ticket cost includes the all-you-can-eat dinner and one pour of beer (pint or snifter of equal value). Physical tickets will not be issued, but your name will be added to a paid list once the purchase process is completed. FYI: Everyone in your party will have to check in under the purchaser’s name at the door.
In addition to the beer dinner, 7venth Sun will also be doing a Limited Release of a Tiki Beer in cans. The can release will begin at noon on June 3 and the cost of the cans are not included in the beer dinner’s ticket cost. You do not have to attend the beer dinner to participate in the can release. Also, if things work out, there may be a special bottle release as well. We will be sure to update you here just as soon as any further information surfaces on the can release and that possible bottle release. Stay tuned.
If you are free on June 3 and interested in enjoying a Sunday full of awesome in the Seminole Heights area of Tampa, it sounds like the IchiLOKO: Freak Your Tiki festivities at 7venth Sun have you covered. Just keep in mind that IchiLOKO events tend to sell out quickly, so you should probably just go ahead and lock down your tickets ASAP. Prost!
On Sunday, July 16 at 11 a.m., LOKO Cuisine and Ichicoro Ramen will join forces in the Fermentorium at Cigar City Brewing (3924 W Spruce St, Tampa, Florida) to bring the foodie and craft beer communities a very special edition of Eggs & Kegs, IchiLoko.
For July’s installment of Eggs & Kegs, John LoScalzo of LOKO Cuisine is teaming up with Ichicoro Ramen to develop IchiLoko, a Japanese-inspired 4-course brunch that attendees will enjoy over “a multimedia backdrop of Japanese hip-hop and anime.” The planned dishes for IchiLoko are as follow:
For the beer side of the event, Cigar City Brewing will be pouring Yuzu Margarita Gose and Lemongrass Rose Saison to act as the perfect pairings to the dishes above. All attendees will receive one beer ticket “good for any pint or snifter of equal value in the Fermentorium or main tasting room bar.” If you would like a beverage other than beer, Ginger Beard Coffee will also be on-site with nitro-infused cold brew coffee and green tea on tap.
Tickets for Eggs & Kegs: IchiLoko are available now for the price of $32.10 each (click here to purchase). Physical tickets will not be issued, but your name will be added to a paid list once the purchase process is completed. FYI: Everyone in your party will have to check in under the purchaser’s name at the door.
When you have an event that combines the talents of LOKO Cuisine, Ichicoro Ramen and Cigar City Brewing, it is pretty much guaranteed that tickets will not last long. With that in mind, you should probably go ahead and lock your tickets down as soon as possible. Prost!
At 7 p.m. on Friday, June 2, LOKO Cuisine will set up once again in the Fermentorium at Cigar City Brewing (3924 W. Spruce St, Tampa, Florida) to host the second installment in their Oeste Dinner Series, Cubano Q.
Chef John LoScalzo of LOKO Cuisine developed the Oeste Dinner series as a means of celebrating the culinary history and traditions of West Tampa. Since Cigar City Brewing also draws a good amount of inspiration from this region, LoScalzo made the very easy decision to partner with the brewery so that he may pair his dishes with the most appropriate beers available. For Round 2 of Oeste, LOKO Cuisine’s Cubano Q will be “a Cuban infused BBQ spread that will tantalize your taste buds with sweet, salty, sour and spicy flavors.” This seated, family-style dinner event will feature the following menu of six dishes:
As attendees enjoy the elaborate meal above, they will have the option to pair it with Cigar City’s Margarita Gose, Guava Grove Sour Ale, Guayabera Pale Ale or Pilsner. One pint or snifter of equal value is included in cost of the dinner, but attendees will have the option to purchase additional pours throughout the event.
Tickets for Oeste Cubano Q are $50 (plus tax) each, and you can purchase yours now through the LOKO Cuisine website (click here). The cost of the ticket allows you to enjoy the full menu and one pint or snifter of beer. Like all LOKO Cuisine events, seating is extremely limited. With that in mind, lock in those tickets as soon as possible to ensure that you do not miss out on what is sure to be an amazing dining experience. Prost!
