CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective (Longmont, Colorado) has officially announced the release of the CANarchy Mixed Pack – VOL. 1, a mixed 12-pack that includes beers from Cigar City Brewing, Oskar Blues Brewery, Perrin Brewing Company, and Squatters Craft Beers.

The CANarchy Mixed Pack – VOL. 1 marks the first time that the CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective – a group of craft breweries who have come together to stay independent – has represented four CANarchy breweries in one box. The first in what is sure to be a rotating series of 12-pack compilations, CANarchy Mixed Pack – VOL. 1 contains the following “assortment of CANarchist brews” (descriptions sourced from press release):

Jai Alai IPA by Cigar City Brewing is the top-selling craft six-pack in U.S. grocery. A citrusy, 7.5% ABV brew featuring six different hop varietals and a rich malt character, Jai Alai has a knock-out score of 99 on Ratebeer.
Dale’s Pale Ale by Oskar Blues Brewery is the original craft beer in a can. A trailblazing fistful of flavor at 6.5% ABV, it’s the hopped-up mountain pale ale that started it all.
Perrin Black Ale by Perrin Brewing Company is a counter-intuitive beer that pours dark as night but drinks like a summer afternoon. Full on flavor and light in mouthfeel, Perrin Black Ale is approachable at 5.8% ABV.
Hop Rising Double IPA by Squatters Craft Beers is Utah’s intense, dry-hopped IPA balanced by a malty backbone, making for a curiously smooth, 9% ABV hop bomb.

The CANarchy Mixed Pack – VOL. 1 contains three (3) 12 oz. cans of each beer listed above. This new mixed 12-pack will begin hitting craft beer shelves in North Carolina and Florida on September 1 and wider distribution is expected “soon”. Prost!

Squatters Craft Beers (Salt Lake City, Utah) has officially announced that it will feature not one but three Seasonal brews this summer: Chasing Tail Orange Golden Ale, Hop Rising Tropical Double IPA and Provo Girl Pilsner.

As summer approaches and the temperatures rise, beer lovers tend to seek out the perfect go-to option for thirst-quenching, beery refreshment . . . but who says you can’t mix it up and have multiple go-to options? Squatters Craft Beers wants to supply you with those options with the recent release of the following three Seasonals that include two new variants of established core beers – Chasing Tail Golden Ale & Hop Rising Double IPA – and the return of an old favorite:

Chasing Tail Orange Golden Ale – Building on the popularity of Squatters much-loved Chasing Tail Golden Ale, Chasing Tail Orange Golden Ale has a higher alcohol content at 5.2% ABV and a subtle, not-too-sweet, navel orange nose. This little puppy proudly wears the Best Friends Animal Society logo and will be served at events celebrating the partnership between the two organizations throughout the year.
Hop Rising Tropical Double IPA – Trade in the pitchfork for a Tiki torch and grab a Hop Rising Tropical Double IPA this summer. In this 9% ABV island twist on the mighty-hop lovers dream, entirely hop-derived citrus and mango notes complement the malty backbone and high alcohol content of this perennial favorite.
Provo Girl Pilsner – This Bavarian-style darling is back and better than ever – a classic Pilsner style featuring aromatic, slightly floral Hersbrucker hops. It’s the perfect refresher for summer nights – and days. ABV – 4%

All three beers above are rolling out now and will be available all summer long in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft. You can expect to find these Seasonal brews on shelves and taps at craft beer-focused establishments located in Texas, Louisiana, Utah and throughout the rest of Squatters’ 19-state distribution footprint.
