Tampa Bay Brewing Co. (Tampa, Florida) has officially announced that Space Donkey Hazy Pale Ale will return for a limited time in early April 2022.

The hazy cousin to the Tampa classic that is Reef Donkey, Space Donkey is a Hazy/Juicy Pale Ale that took that original recipe and “loaded it up with over 3lb per barrel of Galaxy hops and used London Fog yeast and the power of biotransformation to take the juiciness where no one has gone before.” Coming in at 5.5% ABV, Space Donkey will “beam intense peach, passionfruit, and citrus flavors directly to your face all carried on pillowy-soft, full body.”

Space Donkey is available now in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans and on draft at Tampa Bay Brewing Co.’s Westchase and Ybor locations and will hang around only as long as supplies last. There is no word at this time as to if this Limited Release will see distribution. Prost!

Tampa Bay Brewing Co. (Tampa, Florida) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Hop Silo 17, a special collaboration project with Ology Brewing Co. (Tallahassee, Florida), on Saturday, February 26.

A collaboration that will welcome Ology Brewing Co. to the area when they open their Tampa location this year (they will be moving into Angry Chair Brewing’s current location just as soon as Angry Chair moves into the former Brew Bus location), Hop Silo 17 is a Hazy/Juicy India Pale Ale featuring “White Labs Best Coast Hazy Ale Yeast Blend in conjunction with sexy, modern hops like Comet, Cashmere, Citra Cryo, and Talus.” Coming in at 7.5% ABV, Hop Silo 17 boasts “smooth juicy notes of spritzy lemon, lime, fresh coconut & melon [leading] this experience . . . followed by a hit of strong grapefruit & dank resin flavors that delicately balance this beer.”

Hop Silo 17 is scheduled to release on February 26 and will hang around only as long as supplies last. Tampa Bay Brewing Co. (Tampa, Florida) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Tropical Depression IPA on Saturday, June 12.

Dropping just in time to carry us all through the always interesting Florida hurricane season, Tropical Depression is a Hazy/Juicy India Pale Ale boasting a blend of Galaxy, Citra Cryo, and Cryo-Pop hops. Coming in at 7% ABV, Tropical Depression is a “Cat 5 Flavor-cane of candied pineapple, sticky mango, and warm toasted coconut and tangerine flavors.”

Tampa Bay Brewing Co. (Tampa, Florida) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Can Release of The Beast Beneath at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 20.

Emerging from “the ominous depths of the sea,” The Beast Beneath is an Imperial Stout that “[showcases] deep aromas of espresso & baker’s chocolate.” Coming in at a monstrous 10% ABV, the behemoth known as The Beast Beneath “offers a chewy, velvety and luscious mouthfeel, followed by robust notes of toffee, dark chocolate & dark roasted coffee.”

Nothing says BADASS Beer Week, Tampa Bay Brewing Company’s annual celebration of all things badass and beer, quite like a three-way collaboration! Waves of Haze is a “super-silky” Hazy/Juicy India Pale Ale double dry-hopped with Citra, Strata, Sultana, and Talus hops. Coming in at 7% ABV, Waves of Haze “delivers big aromas of pink grapefruit, citrus rinds, dried roses, pine resin, & tropical fruits” alongside “crashing flavors of juicy chunks of pineapple, citrus, and pine.”

Tampa Bay Brewing Company (Tampa, Florida) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Slaughtermelon Florida Weisse on Saturday, October 24.

Crafted to be the “perfect [beer] for a hot, breezy Florida fall,” Slaughtermelon is a Berliner Weisse-style Ale heavily fruited with strawberry and watermelon. Coming in at 6% ABV, Slaughtermelon is guaranteed to “slaughter any picnic in your path.”

Dropping just in time to give you something extremely tasty to enjoy over the long holiday weekend, Boyz-N-Berry Muff-N is a Pastry Sour “bursting with boysenberries, cinnamon and vanilla.” This combination of ingredients creates an experience featuring “delicate vanilla and jammy sweetness, offset by pleasantly sharp tartness.” Clocking in at a “dangerously drinkable” 8% ABV, Boyz-N-Berry Muff-N “offers a complex, layered flavor profile, all while retaining a smooth velvety mouthfeel.”

Tampa Bay Brewing Company (Tampa, Florida) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of its Oktoberfest Lager on Friday, August 28.

Here to remind you that now is the time to dig your lederhosen or dirndl out of the back of the closet, Oktoberfest is a Märzen-style Lager “brewed using traditional German brewing methods utilizing a single decoction mash and all traditional German ingredients.” Clocking in at a highly drinkable 5.3% ABV, Oktoberfest offers “aromas of bready malt and caramel [that] give way to a full-bodied mouthfeel with flavors of toasted malt and a hint of caramel sweetness.”

Finding the sweet spot where innovation and juicy haze collide, Cryotropic is a Hazy/Juicy India Pale Ale that utilizes “10lb per barrel of Citra Cryo hops and Amarillo hops.” The Cryo hops chosen for this beer are a new hop product that uses “cutting edge technology [to] put Citra hops through an intense, low-temperature process that separates and concentrates the lupulin in the hop cone.” This gives Cryotropic (7% ABV) “a super-cool 1-2 hop punch” that is guaranteed to “break the ice” this summer.
