SweetWater Brewing Company (Atlanta, Georgia) has officially announced that it will launch H.A.Z.Y. 710 Pale Ale at the start of the 2022.

Expounding upon SweetWater’s love for cannabis-filled holidays, H.A.Z.Y. 710 Pale Ale is a Hazy/Juicy Pale Ale featuring an addition of “the INCOGNITO® hop innovation to deliver a highly assertive tropical fruit and piney hop chop.” Coming in at 5.4% ABV and 37 IBUs, H.A.Z.Y. 710 Pale Ale is a “tasty and aromatic state-of-the-art pale ale [that] won’t be kept under wraps long as your new go-to undercover lover.”

Creature Comforts Brewing Co. (Athens, Georgia) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Mouse Tracks, a special collaboration project with Off Color Brewing (Chicago, Illinois), on December 31, 2021.

Building off of Off Color’s incredible penchant for “experimenting with new techniques and non-traditional ingredients in thoughtful ways,” Mouse Tracks is an Australian-style Sparkling Ale featuring Carolina Gold Rice, Hallertau Blanc and Amarillo hops. Coming in at 6% ABV, the “dry and effervescent” Mouse Tracks “presents a bready malt character balanced by light floral and fruitiness from the hops.”

Mouse Tracks will debut Friday, December 31 and will hang around only as long as supplies last. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 16 oz. cans at Creature Comforts Brewing Co. There is no word at this time as to whether or not Mouse Tracks will see distribution. Prost!

King State (Tampa, Florida) has officially announced that Colab. Common Beer, a special collaboration project with Our Mutual Friend Brewing Co. (Denver, Colorado), is available now as a Limited Release offering.

Brewed to be a modern take on an old school style, Colab. Common Beer is a California Common-style Beer featuring Colorado Pilsner, Oat malts, Colorado hops and warm fermented with lager yeast. Coming in at 5.1% ABV, Colab. Common Beer has a “soft mouthfeel, notes of sweet citrus and oat country bread, but kept crisp and refreshing.”

Colab. Common Beer actually released in mid-November (I suck, I know), but there is still plenty available and this is a beer that belongs on your radar. Bell’s Brewery (Comstock, Michigan) has officially announced that LoSun, a new low-calorie option, will see its first Seasonal Release in late December 2021.

Dropping as the first low-calorie beer to come out of the brewery’s Wheat Series, LoSun is an American Wheat Ale “packed with fruity, dry-hopped aromas and flavors like citrus and pineapple.” Weighing in at just 4% ABV, 110 calories and 7.5 carbs per 12 oz. serving, LoSun “has all the qualities of an IPA combined with the smooth mouthfeel of a wheat beer.”

“We’re known for iconic IPAs and wheat beers. Building upon the success of beers like Light Hearted and Oberon, we saw an incredible opportunity to introduce a lo-cal option to our Wheat Series,” Carrie Yunker, Bell’s Executive Vice President said.

Catawba Brewing Co. (Asheville, North Carolina) has officially announced that it will launch Light Zombie, a low calorie/low carb version of its wildly popular White Ale, in mid-December 2021.

Arriving just in time for all those New Year’s resolutions, Light Zombie is a trimmed down White Ale that still has “all the delicious flavors of OG White Zombie.” Coming in at just 4% ABV, 100 calories and 7g of carbs (per 12 oz. serving), Light Zombie is a perfect post-workout reward or that more health-conscious option you have been looking for when out having a drink with friends.
