Sixpoint Brewery (Brooklyn, New York) is hitting craft beer fans with even more beans in 2016 as they send the newly created 5BEANS Bazaar Porter out to distribution.
With the release of 5BEANS Bazaar Porter, the brewers at Sixpoint are approaching this year’s release from a slightly different angle and staying true to the intentions of their Cycliquids Series, a constantly rotating lineup of beers in which the brewery experiments with new styles and/or reformulates new takes on past releases. Boasting a bigger bean experience than the previously released 3BEANS (Romano, cacao & coffee beans) and 4BEANS Imperial Porter (Romano, cacao, coffee & vanilla beans), 5BEANS Bazaar Porter is the brewery’s take on the complexities found in Turkish coffee. The brewers were able to create these flavors and aromatics thanks to the additions of Romano beans, cacao, vanilla, coffee and cardamom. The result is a 10% ABV Imperial Porter that is sure to delight coffee and craft beer lovers alike.
5BEANS Bazaar Porter is available now as a limited release offering. Look for this one to show up in 4-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer establishments in Alabama, Florida, and throughout the full distribution footprint of Sixpoint Brewery. Each year’s “*BEANS” release has absolutely flown off of shelves, so coffee beer fans should take notice and snag their 4-pack whenever they happen to run across it. Prost!

Considering this is a huge milestone for Cold Mountain Winter Ale, you just know that the folks at Highland Brewing have created something extra special to celebrate this beer’s 20th Anniversary. That creation is Imperial Cold Mountain, a special release that is “the Cold Mountain you know and love, but bigger.” Imperial Cold Mountain is a bit more “chocolate-forward, with hints of fruits and nuts, and a touch more warmth at 8% alcohol by volume.” This “one-time special brew” will be packaged in 1 liter bottles, 22 oz. bottles and on draft. Bottles can only be purchased at the brewery for a limited time.
