Hi-Wire Brewing (Asheville, North Carolina) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Orange Creamsicle Sour Smoothie in mid-May 2021.

Crafted to embody all that is good about summer, Orange Creamsicle Sour Smoothie is a Smoothie-style Sour Ale “brewed with 100 lbs per barrel of tangerines plus orange peel, vanilla, and lactose.” Coming in at 5.5% ABV, Orange Creamsicle Sour Smoothie is an “orange and cream-colored delight [that] is super tart yet balanced by sweet vanilla accompanied by electric citrus aroma sweet via orange peel.”

Orange Creamsicle Sour Smoothie dropped at Hi-Wire’s Asheville locations on May 14 and is actively hitting distribution now. Hi-Wire Brewing (Asheville, North Carolina) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Blackberry Cobbler Sour Smoothie in mid-February 2021.

Inspired by the dessert of the same name, Blackberry Cobbler Sour Smoothie is a Tart Wheat Ale loaded down with 100lbs of blackberries per barrel and then dosed with “the perfect amount of cinnamon and vanilla.” Coming in at 5.5% ABV, the “tart and jammy yet balanced and smooth” Blackberry Cobbler Sour Smoothie is guaranteed to “take you back to dinner at Grandma’s.”

Blackberry Cobbler Sour Smoothie dropped at Hi-Wire’s Asheville locations on February 12 and will hit the brewery’s other taprooms and distribution any day now. Dropping as the seventh release in Hi-Wire Brewing’s Sour Smoothie Series, Chocolate Raspberry Sour Smoothie is an “ultra-fruited” Sour Ale that “combines a hefty amount of fresh raspberries with a decadent dose of cacao nibs.” Coming in at 5.5% ABV, Chocolate Raspberry Sour Smoothie “delivers on bold chocolate-covered raspberry flavors with a smooth and creamy finish.”
