WeldWerks Brewing (Greeley, Colorado) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Can Release of Watermelon Cotton Candy Sour on Friday, June 18.

Developed to conjure up memories of “all-day State Fairs or evening carnivals,” Watermelon Cotton Candy is a Sour Wheat Ale brewed with cotton candy, milk sugar and watermelon juice. These ingredients come together to create the following ride for your senses:

“The cotton candy adds that indulgent sweet flavor, while the milk sugar rounds it out with a soft and fluffy mouthfeel (just like the beloved childhood treat – cotton candy!). The watermelon adds an almost juicy-fruit character but still maintains all the natural juiciness of fresh, crisp watermelon.”

Coming in at 4.6% ABV, Watermelon Cotton Candy is sure to get your mouth watering.

The Bruery Continues Bakery Series With Release of Boysenberry Pie

The Bruery (Placentia, California) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Bakery: Boysenberry Pie in late May/early June 2021.

Dropping as the latest release in The Bruery’s Bakery Series of pastry-inspired treats, Bakery: Boysenberry Pie is a “bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout with boysenberries, cinnamon, and vanilla.” An ode to the boysenberry and its “[deep roots] in the Orange County area,” the 10.2% ABV Bakery: Boysenberry Pie is “a slice of Southern California in your glass.”

“Bakery: Boysenberry Pie is our second Bakery release of 2021 and the first time this beer has hit distribution,” says Director of Production, Jeremy Grinkey. “Originally brewed for Knott’s Berry Farm’s Boysenberry Festival, we fell in love with this pie beer and we think it’s a fitting Southern California classic!
