Stone Brewing Brings Back RuinTen Triple IPA for a Limited Time

Stone Brewing (Escondido, California) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Stone RuinTen Triple IPA in early May 2022.

Back after being named the “#1 voted choice in Stone’s 2022 Fan Favorites Series of six special releases,” Stone RuinTen Triple IPA is an Imperial/Triple India Pale Ale that employs a “combination of Centennial and Citra hops [that] make for an abundance of tropical fruity flavors right up front.” Weighing in at 10.8% ABV and 110 IBUs, Stone RuinTen Triple IPA has “a pleasant maltiness [that] balances the hops and the experience finishes with that long, lingering, gloriously ruinous finish that defines the West Coast IPA style.”

“In Stone’s early days, we’d brew our hoppiest beer yet to celebrate each anniversary, which led to Stone Ruination IPA,” explained Jeremy Moynier, Stone Brewing Senior Manager of Brewing & Supply Chain and 18-year veteran of the brewery. “That shot to another stratosphere with Stone RuinTen. I absolutely love the extreme dankness, pine and resin that assaults you up front. It finishes with intense fruit, hints of malt, sweetness and has just a touch of warming, reminding you that this is a big beer. Every sip transports me to hop harvest where intense hop aromas hit you wherever you go!”

Stone RuinTen Triple IPA is out now and will hang around only as long as supplies last. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans, 22 oz. bottles and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Alabama, Florida, California, Virginia and throughout the rest of Stone’s nationwide distribution network. Prost!

Release – Limited/Special; May 2022
Style – Imperial/Triple India Pale Ale
ABV – 10.8%
IBUs – 110
Featured Hops – Magnum, Centennial & Citra
Fun Fact – “Brewed in 2012 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the first full-time brewed & bottled West Coast style Double IPA on the planet — Stone Ruination IPA. It was a thrill to pay homage to a beer already well known for its off-the-charts levels of bitter hoppiness by amping it up even further, and our brewers rose to that challenge. Now ten years later, fans are still clamoring for this beautifully bitter beer. So in honor of those who voted to bring this 10.8% monster back, may this ‘stage dive into a mosh pit of hops’ be every bit as gloriously ruinous as ever.”
Availability – 6-packs of 12 oz. cans, 22 oz. bottles & draft
